Greetings, as I write I am returning from the FPA BE national conference held in Seattle where I had the privilege of representing the MN chapter. Janet Stanzak, National President was extraordinary in putting this conference together and certainly made MN proud. In addition, from those I came in contact with I think there were about 10 attendees from MN.
The sessions I attended certainly embodied the conference theme of Business and Education. With over 1,800 attendees and 100+ sponsor booths it was also noted that 20 countries were represented at the conference! Can you believe that..... WOW! I had the opportunity to share conversations with financial advisors from the Netherlands, Japan and India.

In addition, Jill Schlesinger, CFP - CBS News correspondent, served as the emcee for the conference. During an evening reception I had the pleasure of spending about 20 minutes in a sofa chat with Jill. She has great strength of character and fabulous stage presence and is a respected voice in the financial services profession. You might not be aware of her spot on our local WCCO radio "Jill on Money" - She mentioned WCCO wants her to visit and present at our Minnesota State Fair!! I encouraged her to do so ...
Today we welcome the Fall season. Yes .... a wistful, bittersweet time of year but also a season full of beautiful color and perfect temperatures. Savor each and every day.
